As wonderful as a Miller summer evening may be, with intoxicating wafts made of hooking and dinner in the garden, the reality is for many of us when it really gets hot, make-up and shiny faces. How do these A-listers look so fresh on the red carpet? Well, an expert make-up application helps.
For those of us without a professional, the prominent Caroline Barnes (she works with all Kylie Minogue to Joely Richardson) gives her heat-resistant tips for day or evening make-up from proven formulas that she has used for years, right down to some clever application techniques to try to keep our make-up outdoor, hot summer days,, to be able to look flawless.
Prepare the skin
After you applied your moisturizer (or ideally used as moisturizer), there is a trick to keep your make-up at hot when you use a setting spray before applying the rest. I know that you should inject your face in the face afterwards, but I think it is to use it before make-up as a primer that works well.
I tried them all and the one that works best is Urban Decay, the all Niger Spray spray, £ 29.50. It should reduce the temperature of your make-up-it is or not, I don’t know, but I know that it keeps your make-up on the spot and looks fresh when it gets hot. You can also apply it to a small brush and brush it on your lips in front of the lipstick (or in front of the eyeshadow) to end long. It is a real multitasker that I will not be on.
Select the right basis
For the summer I love Ultra Violette Daydream Screen Tinted Veil SPF 50, £ 38. It is a beautiful, slightly tinted moisturizer, but with a structural cover. I like the sheer finish, because it looks natural, but is polished and works well in warm temperatures. It is an Australian product and I always evaluate your SPFs because they are well researched and the consistencies for warm weather are exactly – not too heavy.
Waterproof your eyes
I always prefer the tubular whimpering waterproof because it does not smear and I think that they can get fully looking eyelashes. The waterproof mascara looks a little too thin. Beauty Pie’s Wrap Star Tubing Mascara, £ 25 is absolutely brilliant. You have to apply a layer, let them dry and then apply it for a second. It is a real “wow” mascara.
Eyeliner is always difficult in hot weather because it is so slightly smeared. Elf H20 Proof Eyeliner Pen, £ 7, is a bargain and is my contact for events on the red carpet because it really remains. It is also easy to use and even if you are usually not a fan of Liquid Eyeliner, it is worth trying for its durability. A good long -lasting eyebrow pencil is also worth investing in when your eyebrows are a bit sparse. Victoria Beckham Beauty’s New BabyBlade Microfine Brow Bleit pencil, £ 32, lasts well and has some great colors.
Choose a light lipstick
Giorgo Armani Lip Maestro Lippenstift, £ 38 and Nars Air Matte Lip Color, £ 27, are two of my favorites for the stay. The colors are also beautiful. I love them because they are pretty sheer and work well for a make-up look. If you want more color depth, try Lisa Eldridge luxurious lucent lip color, £ 27 or fenty stunna lip paint, £ 24.
Avoid powder
I don’t like a powder on the skin in summer because I think it coagulates and does not leave a smooth finish. With blusher I always use a creamy one – Max Factor Miracle Pure moisturizer Blush in vintage peonies, 9.99 £, or I often use a small piece of lipstick that leaves a more smooth appearance that leaves a more smooth appearance than any kind of powder product.
Incorporate a few papers
Tatcha Aburatorigami Japanese Blotting Papers, £ 15, are a handbag and brilliant for improvements in summer. A better way to remove shine as a powder in my opinion, I always make sure that I have it from hand. They are so good to mention a sweaty face and this Tatcha are a pleasure to use.
