They are increasingly spending time in Milan and Genoa and would like to make more trips to New York, where they were once involved in the fashion industry. “We really enjoy New York and we didn’t spend any time there. We used to be Bicoastal, so we miss it,” said Trafficante. “Richard has always said since I met him that he only lived in a house for five years. It was with the Gramency Park House that we had [in Hollywood] and our place in the Washington Street [in New York.] But this one we have had for 27 years. That tells you a lot about this house. “
“Villa Arno” was built in 1910 by Reginald Davis Johnson and listed as a cultural heritage. It includes a swimming pool and extensive gardens to which Tyler has tended. The hectare of property is listed for $ 12 million.
The couple endeavors to spend more time, especially in Italy and “be more in the world”, and hopes to buy a place in New York to shorten the travel time for European excursions. Tyler and his wife spoke to potential partners in Milan about the development of a women’s line. “That could be fun. Then maybe I can be on the cover of Women’s Wear every day,” he said with a laugh. “The most exciting and nerve -wracking time in my life was when we made our first fashion show in the New York public library. We thought it was a success, but they never know. For my whole life, everything I was interested in was on the cover of women’s fighting every day. I think our show was at a newspaper stand on Thursday and Friday, but nothing.

Anne Klein & Co. taped him in the early nineties, but his angular style inspired by La did not match the label of the middle of the street. Tyler won three prizes from the Council of Fashion Designer of America and designed uniforms for Delta Airlines at a point of his career.
Villa Arno has attracted some film crews over the years, including the production team behind “Palm Royale” with the actresses Kristen Wiig, Naomi Watts and Laura Dern. This led to an unexpected reunification with DERN, which Tyler had dressed for important appearances in the past. Trafficant said: “People come in to make a film and say:” Oh my god, it’s Richard Tyler. You are my favorite designer. I wish I could get your clothes back. “We hear that especially when a style has returned that is appropriate for Richard.”

During one of Richard Tyler’s fashion show years ago, the model Naomi Campbell took the then three -month -old Edward out of the arms of the traffic and carried him down the runway. The couple hopes to include his son “grew up in the industry” in their moderities. And her 29-year-old descendants are letting go of South Pasadena Manse. “It’s funny that I said to him:” I’m sorry that we will sell it. “He said:” I don’t have the feeling that I have lived in all these beautiful places. “He is a good support for us.”
