Mexico defeats the USA 2-1

Mexico defeated the United States 2-1 to keep the Concacaf Gold Cup and increase the title for the 10th time on Sunday.

An Edson Alvarez header 13 minutes after the time made a victory for Mexico after a typically hard-fought argument between the North American arch-rivals.

The victory was no less deserved as Mexico after having long dominated Mauricio Pochettino’s inexperienced USA team who went to the tournament that missed several regular guests of the first election.
