Kate Moss’ beauty brand Cosmoss intervenes after three years of liquid procedure

Kate Moss’ Cosmoss officially submitted to close all operations. The skin care and wellness business, launched by the 51-year-old British supermodel in 2022, completed a liquidation procedure on June 24th.

According to the submission, Cosmoss owed around 3 million US dollars to its creditors. The majority of them were due to Moss’ personal talent agency Kate Moss Agency. The company last submitted its financial documents to Companies House in 2023. Moss is the majority shareholder of Cosmoss, followed by an incubator from the Boutique brand called Warsaw Labs and three separate people.

Cosmoss was also expanded to new markets in the years after its first publication, which were opened in retailers, resorts and spas in Ireland, France, Germany and the USA

When the brand entered the US market, Moss recognized the importance of moving and praised America as the country in which it was discovered. “My career started at the JFK airport, so I am pleased that Cosmoss has now landed and is ready to share with all of them in the USA,” she said, referring to the moment when Storm Model Agentin Sarah Doukas scouted her in the 90s.

A few weeks earlier, Hailey Bieber’s Rhode Skin Care Line was acquired by eleven Beauty in a deal that was estimated at 1 billion US dollar, one of the largest M&A offers since 2019.
