Children receive “life lessons” from influencers and Ki – Ofsted Boss

The main inspector of Ofsted will say that children receive increasing life lessons from influencers or “a-generated summaries”.

Sir Martyn Oliver will argue that learning in the classroom was “never more important” because children spend their lives online.

In a big speech at the Festival of Education, the OFSTED will say that schools of “refuge”, connection, friendship and humanity are for children.

Sir Martyn will tell the event at Wellington College in Berkshire: “At the moment, many children live a large part of their lives online.

“They are never socially from ‘off’ and in contact with their friends.

“And you will receive increasing life lessons from influencers or summaries of AI generated.

“I would argue that the place of learning, real learning, learning in the classroom – with human interaction – has never been more important.”

The OFSTED boss will add: “In a way, something that lives his life in a curated online environment is in a way.

“You may be able to find the best that thought or said or said when you are looking for it.

“But who guides you through this? Where is the human connection? And of course, where is the protection?”

His comments come in the middle of the conservatives for the government to contribute a legal ban on smartphones in schools.

In February of last year, the schools in England received no instructions for the inpatient government who wanted to hire the use of phones during the school day.

Sir Martyn will say: “Schools have never been just learning locations.

“They were and are places of security, even refuge. Places of the community and connection. Places of friendship and humanity.

“They are citadels of childhood: communities within the communities that take care of their own and help children develop into well -rounded adults who can take care of others.”

On Thursday, Sir Martyn will be back at cynikers who “decipher the educational standards” and say that Ofsted forces an “outdated, joyless system”.

In his speech, he will say: “For Ofsted, it is not just a nice, rich selection of topics for a complete, rich selection of topics, it is fundamental for great training.

“Music, art and sport are not the core curriculum, but some of the most important topics you can study to sharpen the awareness of a child for the world around them.

“And in the sense of macro arms to feed on the cultural development of our country and to continue civilization.”
