I browse the expression “bride make -up” because it promotes the somewhat strange idea that women faces should look very different on their wedding days. Nowadays, brides may wear black or red, hair, hair, hi-top trainer or Dr. Martens boots. Similarly, however, you feel attractive, comfortable, confident, self -confident and most attractive, comfortable, yourself.
But what I will admit is that the big day often requires a new foundation. Rarely are they photographed as much for so many hours and confronted with the result for so many years so that it is worth wearing a little higher and longer than for a day in the office.
Some semi-matt is ideal because the possibilities of preventing the shine are sparse and the risk of color transmission to a dress with damp formulas is higher. My most recommended is Lisa Eldridge’s Seamless Skin Foundation (£ 44), which is available in 40 carefully selected colors and gives the skin a pretty egg shell gloss. I have never received negative feedback after the big day.
Dior’s is just as versatile Forever Skin Perfect Foundation Stick (£ 48). When your bridesmaid has space in your pocket to make more than mint and a lipstick, fill it with an extraordinary, medium -sized, solid foundation that melts silky when mixing the face, the face laminated in soft, blurry, permanent coverage, which can be downgraded or thought about the taste. It is also excellent for fingertips after the ceremony or the wedding breakfast.

With dry skins it is difficult to surpass the favorite of the make -up artist, Armani’s Beauty glowing silk foundation (£ 47), which even makes the skin glowing (without flatness or shine) and deceptively natural. This price tag is strong, but a very similar look is delivered by Real match nude clumsy tinted serum (£ 14.99) by Armani Staffen, L’Oréal Paris.
For problem bowls in which redness, acne or scars are a problem Doublewear Stay-in-Place Foundation (£ 39.50), which not only builds up seamlessly to cover anything, but also has phenomenal endurance performance (add spray and there could be a few marriages).
For oily skin types that like a soft matt finish with more VIM, I am enthusiastic about Anastasia Beverly Hills. Cycling blurred second -skin matt foundation (£ 39, shown above). I hadn’t expected that I would love it, but even my own dry skin looks good thanks to its flattering, almost paper -like finish.
